EDucation and Experience

I graduated from the University of Idaho with my masters degree (MEd) in 2010 and my specialist (EdS) degree in 2012. I earned my coaching certification in 2015 and integrative medicine provider certification in 2018. I attended Washington State University PhD in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education for several semesters from 2020-2022. As a practicing therapist since 2011, I have worked in k-12 education as a school counselor, community mental health as a director and therapist, and in-patient mental health as a clinician. Most recently, I was the Director of Counseling and Wellness at a College of Veterinary Medicine as a supervisor, practicing therapist, the director of programs, initiatives, and wellbeing education. Lighting the Path was officially created and opened for business in February 2022.
